Description of the Property
Open the front door and Voila! Breathtaking white water views of the North San Diego County Coast fill the entire width of our unit. 180 degrees of deep blue sea - and on a clear day you can see Catalina Island. The only way to miss this view is with your eyes wide shut! Perfectly appointed right down to the capuccino machine. Our Lazy Boy sofa-bed is top of the line, or climb into the rattan chairs and ottoman set. A gas fireplace will keep you cozy. Settle in and become spoiled. We are in an exclusive gated community of approximately 70 units and our unit is the top tier closest to the center. We have two jacuzzi spas, access code gates, and underground security parking for up to two vehicles. Additional street parking is available, and there is a 24 hour guest parking lot as well. We feature 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths in about 1100 square feet of space. Sleeping accommodations include a luxurious double pillow top Sealy Posturpedic King in the master bedroom (a fabulous bed!)- and a new double bed with a firm mattress in the 2nd bedroom, a Lazy Boy sofa bed in the living room offers queen size innerspring mattress. We have a toddler flip Winnie the Pooh futon, and a portable crib with bassinet attachment.
The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with everyday corelware dishes and our Harbor Motif china dishes for setting a pretty table. We have most kitchen gadgets - and appliances including the standard items coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, cappuccino machine, waffle maker -etc. Our dishwasher, disposal, refrigerator are all 2005 new. Our gas range is self-cleaning and brand new Dec 2006. We have a fully stocked wetbar - with cocktail to margarita glassware for your use and enjoyment. The 4th photo on this site gives you a floorplan view of our condo. The living room side faces the ocean - the bedroom side faces the inner quad are which is seen in the lower photo on our website. We offer a portable room style air conditioner in both bedrooms for our Arizona friends who depend on their AC to lull them to sleep. No other air conditioning is offered - or needed as we get a pretty good breeze being a penthouse unit.
Our condo has a laundry room with washer and dryer in our unit. Electronics include: 3 tv's, 2 vcr's,a DVD player, and a nice quality stereo with multi-CD changer plus Am/Fm and Tape deck. Alarm clocks in both bedrooms, and a selection of tapes and cd's including over 35 VHS tapes in our movie library.
For those who must work.we have a mini-office desk setup in our master suite with an HP scanner/ printer and a new Sharp fax machine, plus a convenient spot to work. Just bring your laptop. There is a phone in each bedroom, plus a portable phone with answering machine in the kitchen. WE Offer HIGH Speed ATT Wireless Internet AT NO Charge. You must have a wireless laptop . or an adpater card. Or, you must have an ethernet port to plug in the ethernet cable. The speed is very good - and the wireless is encrypted so only your family will be able to get onto the internet. The range includes all areas of the condo and both balconies.
Our front porch/balcony has a private entry - and our rear balcony has the view of the ocean. We do have a electric george foreman bbq for you to use. There are 12 steps to get to our front door, but once inside, it is one story living. The interior doors are standard 28-30 inch width. Full payment is due 60 days in advance. We accept MOST Credit Cards, personal checks more than 60 days out and paypal.
We are VERY Excited to announce that we have just bought a second 2 bedroom 2 bath beachfront unit. This other unit offers 3 night minimum rental during the off season - and 7 night minimum rental during the summer season - or all federal holidays. Our newest condo is located in North Coast Village Condominium Complex, just 2 blocks to the North. The North Coast Village complex is beachfront - with no roads between it and the sand. Please note that our San Miguel condo depicted on this website is a mllion dollar luxury penthouse in a quiet and upscale complex. This is our own personal vacation residence. It is not suited for all families. There is no clubhouse, no pool, no fitness center. Two hot tubs seen in our lead photo are available for you to use during your stay - subject to age restrictions and California hot tub law. We ONLY offer Monthly rentals in this unit which means there is no City tax required. Cleaning is charged at prevailing housekeeping rates to return the unit to the condition it was in when you arrived. If you are looking to pamper yourself and your family in a peaceful setting, and you want restful days and nights with the soothing sounds of pounding waves and the ever changing view of the ocean . this is it. Located in a gated security complex right on the ocean. There is a small one way street called The Strand separating our complex from the sandy beach below. The Oceanside Pier and Amphitheatre is one block to the South, and the harbor 2 blocks north. This is a small elite beachfront complex of approx 70 units - Each unit is valued between 800k and over 1 million - It is quiet, and perfect for those wishing a peaceful beach vacation. The only amenities in the complex are two heated jacuzzi's which are visible from our balcony - and available only to our registered guests or owners in the complex.

Rental Rate Notes
Our penthouse may not be suitable for all families. Please read the description carefully to see if this condo will adequately suit your family or personal access needs. We offer MONTHLY rentals year round. Our rental rate is based on our cost of ownership plus market valuation according to season.. The minimum rental period we can offer is 15 consecutive nights within the same calendar month - at a rate of 75% of the posted monthly rate. This option is not avail during peak season of July and August for advance booking - but can be obtained for any booking less than 30 days from arrival where vacancy exists including peak season. For example - for the period of Jul 1-31 a 15 night booking can be obtained if the unit is vacant and avail as of Jun 15th. We can offer extra services - such as weekly housekeeping at an additional fee. Months run 1-30 unless otherwise specified or agreed upon in advance. Military rentals for officers under the officers housing allottment program are offered at special rates except for July and August. This property is not wheelchair accessible - we have a set of stairs to get to the front door. Once inside it is single level living with 28" interior doorframes.Rental Policies
30 night minimum rental during peak season of July and August. - We have simplified our rates to make them easier to understand. If a shorter than 30 night reservation is desired the minimum rent will be 75% of the published monthly rate for up to 14 consecutive days within the calendar month. 6 person maximum in our unit per HOA rules and regulations. Non Smoking only and No pets - actively enforced! Minimum age for responsible party is 25. Discounts avail for 120 night reservation low or mid season - to retiree and Grade 5 or above military officer on temporary assignment to Camp Pendleton. for fastest reservations please phone us (530) 906-1194
An advance of $250 is required of any reservation booked more than 60 days prior to arrival. Full payment is due for all reservations make less than 60 days prior to arrival inclusive of rent/tax/cleaning and damage deposits. Damage deposits are $500 for short term rentals and $1000 for long term rentals. Repeat customers may earn a lower damage deposit.
Our customers may cancel their reservation at any time right up to the day of arrival.. however, prior to 60 days from arrival a $250 advance will be subject to forfeiture if the reservation cannot be rebooked... less than 60 days prior to arrival all rents received are subject to forfeiture unless the condo is able to be rebooked for the reserved time frame. If a lesser amount is accepted - a lesser amount will be refunded.
