Activities and Attractions
Beach, Beach and more Beach! Great for swimming, surfing, body boarding, skim boarding, fishing and anything else you can think of.
Orlando’s theme parks are a little over an hour away: Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World. Kennedy Space Center's Visitors Center is 15 minutes away. Get a bus tour of the space center, IMAX Theater, Saturn V Museum, etc.
Two of the world's largest casino cruise lines (SunCruz and Sterling) depart twice daily from Port Canaveral. Port Canaveral is just minutes away and is one of the largest cruise ship ports. Royal Carribbean, Disney, and Carnival are home ported here and offer 3, 4, and 7-day cruises.
Fishing is available via charter boats, party boats or beach.
Golf: The Cocoa Beach country club is located on the peninsula surrounded by the Banana River Lagoon. The Country Club welcomes locals and visitors alike with 3 nine-hole courses.
Shopping: Ron Jon’s Surf Shop and Cocoa Beach Surf company are favorites of visitors. Merritt Island Square mall is a short drive form the condo and has a 16 screen stadium-seating theater.
Brevard Zoo in Melbourne features 400 animals. Melbourne is approximately 40 minutes by car.
Space Coast Stadium in Viera is home to the DC Nationals training camp and farm team the Manatees.
Cocoa Beach Pier offers casual dining and one of the best places to walk out over the ocean.
Cocoa Beach Surf School specializes in beginners. Private and semi-private lessons are available.
Dining There are several waterfront seafood restaurants to choose from at the Port that feature fresh-caught local seafood. There is no shortage of great restaurants in the area.
