Description of the Property
Georgeous A-frame cabin on 2.5-acre just off Historical Route 66 located in Parks between Flagstaff and Williams (the gateway to the Grand Canyon) with two sides bordering the Kaibab National Forest. The cabin is beautifully decorated in a Cowboy & Indian theme and Southwest art. An excellent retreat from the heat in the summer and snow play in the winter. Enjoy historical downtown Flagstaff and home of NAU just 17 miles away. Less than one hour drive to the Grand Canyon. Points of interest within 30 minute drive time are Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon & Slide Rock State Park, Williams, and Kaibab Lake, and Snowbowl Ski Lodge. Places to see in the Parks area are the Lava Tubes, Sycamore Canyon, Key Hole Sink, Deer Farm, and Oak Hill Snow Play area and many great quad and dirt bike trails. Other activates include hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, golfing, skiing, dinning, shopping, sight seeing, and star gazing.
Our 2-story newly build cabin/home is 2300 sq ft with two master bedrooms and is wheel chair accessible. The lower master suite has a new queen bed, satellite TV, private deck facing the national forest, and private bathroom. The 2nd story master suite has a new king size bed. The 3rd bedroom has a bunk bed and single twin with room for a cot. The second bathroom is on the upper level. The loft is a great play area for children with a futon that converts into a standard size bed, TV, Game Cube, Nintendo 64 and games, and an additional sink. The living area has leather and cowhide furniture with satellite TV and DVD player. The dinning area comfortably seats 8 but will hold 10 people with a bay window looking over the tall pines. The kitchen has all the amenities, and service for 12. The laundry room has a washer and dryer. The extra large deck has patio furniture and charcoal grill. A large circular driveway provides room for RVs and toy haulers. There is a swing set for the little ones and a fire pit perfect for toasting marshmallows under the stars.

This cabin is wheel chair accessible with a conveniently designed ramp that leads into the lower master bedroom from a private deck. The private bathroom and whole lower level including the main deck is wheel chair accessible. The owners love to cook and entertain so the kitchen has all the necessities such as Fiestaware for 12, cookware, crockpot, rice steamer, hot coco maker, sharp knives and cutting boards, etc. Special detail when into the decor such as hand carved bear cubs climbing a pole, which supports the loft, to Hopi Indian and South American one of kind art pieces. This is the kind of vacation retreat you will come back to again and again.

Activities and Attractions
Historical downtown Flagstaff (15 minutes away) has many multi cultural, regional and vegan restaurants, great shopping boutiques and art galleries. Lowell’s Observatory and Meteor Creator are a must while in Flagstaff. Excellent mountain or 10 speed bike trails and paths starting at the cabin. From spring to fall months, take a Harley ride on 89A to see Sedona's Red Rock Canyon, (home of 4 major Vortex sites) and Oak Creek Canyon (30 minutes away). While there, hop on a Pink Jeep Tour or Hot Air Balloon ride over some of the most beautiful and unique scenery in our country. During the summer, pack a cooler and make it a fun day at Slide Rock State Park (30 minutes away) where the kids slide along the rocks and the adults sunbath or catch up on their reading on the many levels of flat rock formation along the creek. In less than one hour you can be at the Grand Canyon hiking and riding a mule to Indian Gardens. During the winter months (Dec-Feb) there is downhill skiing in Snowbowl (30 minutes away). Oak Hill Snow Play Area (1 mile away) has 2 main sledding areas. Directly across the street (Route 66) is Key Hole Sink where you can see petroglyph drawings. The Deer Farm (2 miles away) is perfect for the little ones. Williams (15 minutes away) has the Polar Express on the Grand Canyon Railway during the winter months. All year long they have many fun restaurants, an indoor skate board/roller blade park and Native American shopping.

Rental Rate Notes
Rates are for up to 4 people. Addtional guests are $10 per person per night for a total of 10 guests.Rental Policies
2-night minimum, 3-nights during holidays. Holiday rate is $175 per night for four people during NewYears, Presidents, Columbus, Matin Luther King, Easter, Memorial, July 4th, Labor, Thanksgiving and Christmas. No smoking in the cabin or anywhere on the property. Pets upon approval for additional $10 per night. Check in after 3pm, check out by 11am.
A $250 security deposit and $100 non-refundable cleaning fee ($350) are due to secure your reservation. Payment by personal check, money order or cashiers check. Full rental amount is due 30 days prior to your arrival. If booked less than 30 days in advance, the entire amount is due to hold reservation and payment must be via money order or cashiers check. Security deposit will refunded after the cabin has been cleaned assuming no damage to property.
Security deposit 100% refundable if cancellation is made 30 days prior to scheduled arrival. 50% refundable if cancelled within 8-29 days in advance. If cancelled with 7 or less days notice deposit is non-refundable.
