Description of the Property
The Cottage in Coupeville - Enjoy beautiful views of Penn Cove and Mount Baker from this quaint cottage located on Whidbey Island. Conveniently located just 1 street back from the water and 2 blocks from historic downtown Coupeville.
A five minute stroll will put you on Front Street where you will find an ecclectic mix of shops and dining options. Public beach access is also just a 5 minute walk away. Its the perfect place to visit with children or as a couple's get-away.
Bringing your boat along? Captain Thomas Coupe Park is located 2 blocks east of the cottage and features a public boat launch. There is ample parking at the cottage for your boat and boat trailer.
The Cottage features two bedrooms, one with a king sized pillow top bed and the other with two decorative iron twin beds, it sleeps up to four (possibility for extra kids.feel free to ask). Both bedrooms have large closets for storage. The bathroom has a full-sized shower/tub, and towels are provided. The updated kitchen features stainless side-by-side refrigerator and stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and tea kettle. Dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, dish towels, glasses, pots and pans and dishwashing supplies are also ready for your use (sorry, no dishwasher). The dining area has seating for 4+, views of Penn Cove and Mount Baker.
The living room has rustic wood floors, a natural gas fireplace and views of Penn Cove and Mount Baker, Tv/dvd player (no TV reception so bring your movies and books), radio with CD player, and telescope.
The laundry room features a full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience, laundry soap is provided. The cottage has a deck, facing the water and mountain views. Ample off-street parking. Firepit with roasting sticks also on-site.
What to do in the town of Coupeville? Stroll the streets, hike or bike, walk the beach, visit a museum, shop for wine and cheese at the local deli, eat at delicious restaurants, visit the yarn shop, check out whale bones on the pier, eat ice cream, and much more!

Location, location, location...you'll love being able to walk to downtown Coupeville and to the beach. Views from the cottage are also great...sit on the front deck and enjoy. There is so much to do on Whidbey Island that you'll have no trouble filling your days! Remember....public bus service is FREE on the island.

Nearby attractions include historic downtown Coupeville, Deception Pass, Fort Casey State Park, Fort Ebey State Park, Langley, Keystone-Port Townsend ferry and more! There is a city park just 2 blocks west that has playground equipment and a basketball court. Kayak rentals are available on the Coupeville pier. Whale watching expeditions also take off from the pier at various times through the year. Rental Rate Notes
Rental rates are based on 'self-catering' (leave cottage as found, linens washed/dried, floors clean, kitchen cleaned, etc.). Don't want to clean it yourself? We can handle the cleaning for an additional $60.Rental Policies
Rates: $125/night, year-round, payable by check, money order or credit card through PayPal September 15 - June 15th: Mininum 2 nights June 16 - September 14th: Miniumum 4 night stay, shorter stays occassionally available Check in: 3pm Check out: Noon We are non-smoking and do not accept pets. This is a self-catering cottage. Guests are asked to leave it in an 'as-found' condition...laundry washed and dryed, beds made with clean linen, bathroom cleaned, floors mopped, etc. Cleaning supplies are available for your use and a cleaning checklist is provided. OPTIONAL CLEANING FEE: Want us to clean the cottage for you when you leave? Just pay an additional cleaning fee of $60 and we'll take care of it!
50% deposit due at time of booking to hold the reservation, payable by check or money order. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date.
Half of the 50% booking deposit may be refunded upon cancellation, if cancelled at least 30 days prior to your reservation date.
