Crockett House
The Crockett House is less than ten minutes from downtown Frankfort, many restaurants and several shopping centers. It is five minutes from I-64 and makes a perfect rendezvous spot for family or friends. Surrounded by 53 acres of pasture and woodlands, the property makes a peaceful retreat. From the large screen porch, one can listen to nearby Armstrong Creek and watch deer and turkey move in and out of the woods. Parts of the two-story frontier home were built in 1825. It retains much of its original woodwork, including the staircase and board and batten doors. The entire house was tastefully remodeled and decorated in 2008.
