This vacation retreat is also located right on a main canal of Copano Bay, one of the largest and most pristine bays on the Texas Gulf Coast. At this waterfront vacation rental, you can view spectacular sunsets, take a fishing trip, have an unforgettable family vacation, enjoy a friend's get away or just relax and read a great book.
Holiday on the Bay 2 has undergone extensive remodelling, providing you with a fun coastal décor. The ambience is airy and bright with an open concept making communication and entertainment a breeze. Your vacation hideaway includes three bedrooms (King, Two Twins and Two Full beds) and lots of extras to make your vacation memorable (e.g., extended deck to water's edge, oversized cleaning table, 50-foot private dock with underwater fishing light, pool table, cable TV with DVD player/VCR, CD stereo and the neighborhood has private boat launch, T-head pier, playground and swimming pool). We have worked hard to make this a special vacation refuge for you, your family and your friends.
If you do not have a fishing boat and do not want to hire a guide, come and fish all day and night off of your private 50-foot dock that includes a green underwater fishing light or on the neighborhood lighted pier. And if beaches are your thing, you can enjoy Texas' only Blue Wave Beach in the heart of Rockport, or take a short drive to other area beaches. If you need information on area fishing guides or boat rentals we can help you with this information as well.
Rockport is known for some of the best fishing and bird watching in Texas and is home to many famous artists. You can also enjoy Rockport's shopping, galleries, museums and dining or just kick back and enjoy the privacy of this tranquil and quiet retreat (movie, book and game library included).

Activities and Attractions
Rockport is known for great fishing, boating and birding. We are a coastal bay town but have the only "Blue Wave" beach in Texas. If you want a ocean side beach Corpus and Port Aransas are short drives away. If you don't have a boat of your own, hire one of the many guides in the area. Inquire at booking and short list of guides will be provided. Area at home also provides great kayaking as does all of Rockport.
In the summer the neighborhood swimming pool may be availabe. We also have (all year access) to a play park for children, boat launches kayak/wade park and a T-head lighted fishing pier.
The home comes with an underwater green light at the homes dock for night fishing.
