Lake Almanor and surrounding areas have special events all year long! To list just a few.... July includes the 4th of July parade in Chester followed by a fabulous fireworks display over Lake Almanor. This is the most popular time of the year in Lake Almanor. The only time we have traffic! Paul Bunyan Mountain and Blues Festival in Westwood Gold Digger Days in Greenville Plumas and Lassen County Fairs July and August offer multiple craft fairs through in Chester September brings on of the few annual car shows, cookoffs, and much more! October 31st is Halloween and downtown Chester shows it's support to the children and help make the kids in our community have a safe and memoriable occassion. The list goes on and on! Winter is a wonderland and snow falls upon us which brings snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, dog sled races, and everything else! Bring the kids to build snowmen, snowball fights or just enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Rental Policies

Payment for all rentals to be made by personal, business, cashiers check, money order, visa, or mastercard. Make checks payable to Bailey Creek Rental Properties, 289 Clifford Drive North, Lake Almanor, CA 96137. For all reservations made less than two weeks prior to arrival, payment must be made by cashiers check, money order, or credit card only. For all last minute reservations, payment to be collected the day of arrival by credit card and cash only. Rates do not include security deposit, cleaning fee, or Plumas County Room & Board Tax.

Deposit is the amount of one nights stay. Deposits are due at time of reservation and non-refundable after 30 days prior to check-in date. Deposits are refunded within 21 days of departure from rental. Full payment for reservation is due 30 days prior to arrival or within two weeks of confirmation for all holiday reservations.

Full refund, minus a $50 cancellation fee, if reservation is cancelled a minimum of 60 days prior to arrival (holiday reservations not included). Cancellations made 1-59 days prior to arrival are non-refundable unless we can schedule new tenants to take over reservation. No refunds for early departures. All holiday reservations are due in full within two weeks of confirmation and are non-refundable.
