Description of the Property

This cottage was built in 2007 and completed in July of that year. It is built up on pillings as are most structure on the North Carolina coast line. At the top of the stairs to the cottage is a large deck with a view of the sound between Nags Head, and Manteo. The entrance door is into the great room with the full eat in kitchen with a table that will seat eight is on the right and open to the great room. Off of the kitchen is an utility room with a washer and dryer that was purchased in July 2007. There is a hall off of the great room to the bedrooms and the second bath room. The master bedroom has a large closet across the back wall with sliding doors and on the opposite side is the master bath. Both bathrooms have a tub/shower. There is a 32inch flat screen TV in the great room, and a dvd player. The cottage is furnished with dishes, table ware, and pots and pans. All the appliances were new in July of 2007. All of the bedroom furnitire was purchased in September of 2007 including new matress and box springs. The TV, TV stand and the dinning room furniture were purchased used. The living room sofa, love seat and tables were also purchased new in 2007.Attractions: The First Fliglht Village where Orville and Wilbur Wright first flew is only 10 minutes. There are two access to the ocean beach are a quarter of a mile away and have parking. But it is wise to get there early in the peak season. Some of the finest restaurants are near by. Accoss the sound in Mateo there is the Lost Colony play. A story of the first settlers who mysteriously disappeared. There is a championship golf course, go carts, putting, bowling, fishing, shopping and the Nags head walking trail are close to the cottage. Two miles away is the Jockey Ridge State park where the famous huge sand dune is located.
