This tropical open air one bedroom condo is set right on a sandy beach in Rum Point on the Caribbean, in the friendly community of Cayman Kai. Just a few steps from the water, this property features great ocean views, convenient snorkeling and excellent swimming.
This 910 square foot Sea Lodge is the best rental value you'll find for a couple in one of the most desirable communities in Grand Cayman. Free extras that come with the rental include the use of snorkel and fins, two new bicycles for exploration, free phone service for local calls and free High speed BroadBand wireless internet access!
The Sea Lodges of Cayman Kai were built in the old style of the Caribbean. All are on the ground floor. Peaked roofs collect rainwater for the cisterns below ground. Most of our guests dine on their screened porches looking out to the beach and the blue green Caribbean. Screened porches at each end enable the tradewinds to naturally cool the bedroom, living room and kitchen, with the assist of overhead fans in each room.
Simple Pleasures, part of the Sea Lodges of Cayman Kai, is located on the beach in Rum Point, 50 yards from the waters' edge. This part of the Caribbean is a Marine Park where all marine life is protected. It is a ten minute walk to the Wreck Beach Bar and Grille, Red Sail Sports, and the public beach at the Rum Point Club. Rum Point is not on the beaten path of tourists. There is both elegant and informal dining in the area, but there are no hotels in Rum Point. This is a truly "get away from it all vacation" for couples. Grand Cayman is 260 miles South of Havana Cuba. Protected by a reef 150 yards offshore, Cayman Kai is diving and snorkeling paradise. And this lodging is both romantic and affordable!

This Sea Lodge has a nicely laid out kitchen and breakfast area, with service for four and all the utensiles youneed. The living area includes a sofa, love-seat and easy chair as well as a desk area and chair. The bedroom includes a king bed, dresser, closet, end tables and lamps. The bedroom and living area and kitchen all open to screened porches. One porch opens to the beach and the water, the other to the common patio of The Sea Lodges of Cayman Kai. The sea side porch has a generous sized table and 4 chairs, with two chaise lounge that can be taken to the beach. All rooms have Caribbean views.

Activities and Attractions
The Rum Point Public Beach is a special place and a 10 minute walk from your sea lodge. Get there early and pick out the hammock you always pictured yourself in, drifting off to sleep, listening to the lapping water.The Wreck Bar and beach barbeque offer informal feasting, while the Rum Point Club serves elegant dinners. The Red Sail dive shop is where you sign up for your snorkeling trip to "Sting Ray City" . (That's where you will snorkel among dozens and dozens of these denizens of the deep.Or you can also arrange a snorkel picnic or a night scuba dive). Red Sail Sports at the Rum Point Public Beach rents sail boats, zodiacs, kayaks, sailboards and paddle boats. Sunsets are gorgeous at this beach.
The Kaibo is 10 minute bike ride from your sea lodge. This is a beautiful marina with formal restaurant, bar, and a less formal outdoor all weather restaurant and bar.
