Description of the Property
In April 2007 we were visited by a mother whale and her yearling for about 45 minutes while they feasted on the shallow water sea creatures directly in front of our home.This adventure gave us the idea for our house name."Whales Tale". The downstairs "great room" with gas fireplace has soundfront windows across into the dining and kitchen area. With a backdrop of the Cascade mountains you will see much sealife and wildlife. At nighttime the sparkling city lights from across the Puget Sound are mesmerizing.Our fully equipped kitchen is upgraded with granite countertops, new appliances and new tile flooring which is throughout most of the downstairs. The utility room next to the kitchen has washer,dryer and oyster bar. Across the hall is the"fish" motif bedroom with twin beds and private bath.Upstairs the huge waterfront master suite(Captain's Quarters) has a fireplace,great views from the kingsize bed, glass enclosed patio and private bath. A king bed is in the other waterfront "sailboat" bedroom. Down from the hall bath is the "shell" room with twin beds. Outside you can enjoy barbequeing and walking on the beach which has access from our shared boat ramp.All this is bundled into a secluded wooded area away from the Hurry-scurry of everyday life with only a 20 minute Clinton Ferry boat ride back to reality in Mukilteo. If you are looking for peace & relaxation.this is it!!!NO PETS No smoking inside.

Whidbey Island:
Winery in Langley; County Fair August in Langley. There is a casino north of Oak Harbor. Restaurants nearby in Clinton ...try the Cozy Inn" for great Pizza, steak and a great patty-melt (what we have tried so far) Up the hill is a great Chinese Restaruant "Hong Kong Gardens" with a wonderful view and good food (reasonable). Gordons in Freeland...gormet! and view. Edgecliff in Langley... gormet & views. Park & take Ferry ride to "Ivers" in Mulkilteo! Fresh Seafood to cook: go to the "Fish Monger" in Langley(about 10minutes away)
If you wish to fish, crab or go clamming on site please check the local laws. Bring your fishing pole,crabpot and clamming bucket.!
