Siena, Tuscany Vacation Rentals

Siena is located in the Tuscany region of Italy and is a romantic vacation spot designed to offer guests a relaxing vacation. Of course a wine tour of Tuscany isn’t a bad idea. Experience a number of vintage red and white wines grown in the wine capital of the world. Sample wine and eat a lunch with a great view in the background. If you’re not savvy about wine, there are wine schools that will teach you the basics so you can know the difference between a Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Siena vacation homes line the city and there are numerous activities from which to choose nearby such as the Piazza del Campo. This is a horse racing venue every July and August but is a plaza and square every other month. There are also several places at which to dine in the Piazza and you can enjoy traditional Italian food or something a bit more exotic. A fun thing to do is get a table outside and people watch while you enjoy your meal. Guests of Siena vacation homes can go on a walking tour of Tuscany and experience the culture, history and architecture of Siena by food. You can truly enjoy your views as you walk along the beautiful city. If you decide you want to educate yourself a little bit, you can check out The Metropolitan Museum, an art museum that captures the history of Italy through painting and sculptures.
