Siena is located in the Tuscany region of Italy and is a romantic vacation spot designed to offer guests a relaxing vacation. Of course a wine tour of Tuscany isn’t a bad idea. Experience a number of vintage red and white wines grown in the wine capital of the world. Sample wine and eat a lunch with a great view in the background. If you’re not savvy about wine, there are wine schools that will teach you the basics so you can know the difference between a Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Siena vacation homes line the city and there are numerous activities from which to choose nearby such as the Piazza del Campo. This is a horse racing venue every July and August but is a plaza and square every other month. There are also several places at which to dine in the Piazza and you can enjoy traditional Italian food or something a bit more exotic. A fun thing to do is get a table outside and people watch while you enjoy your meal.
