A 4-day event, The Vail Film Festival has been taking place annually in the largest ski resort in North America around late March or early April since 2004. The program features a variety of styles from ballet to Broadway to ballroom to breakdance, with frequent guest artists from the American Ballet Theatre and the Pacific Northwest Ballet. Savion Glover of the Tony Award-winning "Bring in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk" has also graced the VIDF stage. All ticketed performances take place in the The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater while off-stage events take place at the Arrabelle at Vail Square.
