George F. Boyer Historical Museum
It is a non-profit organization managed by the Wildwood Crest Historical Society. It houses and preserves the history of Wildwood. Their famous exhibit includes the "Marble hall of fame" alongside vintage photos, artifacts and memorabilia that gives you a peak at the various eras of Wildwood. All throughout summer, it is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. During winters, it is open from Thursday to Saturday.
Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum
Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum or NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum is a non-profit organization. It houses 26 aircraft, several military memorabilia, engines, photographs, etc. on display. It is currently restoring Hangar 1 at Cape May County that is already listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. NAS Wildwood Aviation Museum hosts an aviation festival, concert bands, and veteran ceremonies among other activities. This museum can be visited between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Doo-Wop Preservation League Museum
The doo-wop architecture reined this motel city between 1950s and 1960s. Relive the Doo-wop era by visiting this museum. It houses everything that made Wildwood famous in its heydays, from neon lights to cool artifacts and memorabilia. Take a tour of 20-odd vintage motels that are restored to their former glory and get a glimpse of mid-century American architecture. It is open from 10 a.m. till noon and again from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. You have the option of either choosing a bus tour or walking.
Historic Cold Spring Village
Located at Cape May County, the Historic Cold Spring Village covers 22 acres. Stroll in this beautiful village catching a glimpse of the life in the 17th century. The ideal time to visit it is in summer when the gardens are at full bloom, and the colors of nature enthrall you. The village hosts educational and interactive family activities. There are craft and souvenir shops along with an ice cream parlor, and the village also offers dining options. The park is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until Labor Day and only during weekends till mid-September.
