Richardson Lakes
Richardson Lakes are one of the lake reservoirs in Oxford County. Historically, there were two separate lakes but in the early 1900s they were joined together by a dam. However, the lakes are still referred to as the Upper and Lower Richardson Lakes. The lakes are located near the northern border of Maine and New Hampshire. This S-shaped lake is 15 to 16 miles long and is a popular fishing destination among the locals.

Keoka Lake
Another famous fishing spot in Oxford County is Keoka Lake, located in the Waterford Flat. Keoka Lake is also known as Thomas Pond by the locals. This river has a surface area of 460 acres and has a maximum depth of 42 feet. It's situated alongside Route 35 and Route 37.
There are several varieties of fish living in the river including brook trout. Due to the boulder and gravel shoreline of this river, it is home to smallmouth and largemouth bass. Kezar Lake
One of the more interesting lakes in the Oxford County is Kezar Lake. This is due to the fact that the lake is home to three species of coldwater fish as well as warm water fish. Smelt is abundant in this lake, particularly during summer and winter. You can also catch lake trout, salmon, bass, white pickerel and white perch.
Kezar Lake is also a great destination for boating, canoeing and kayaking. There are two launching areas in the lake. One is located at the Narrows while the other one is at the end of North Lovell.
Horseshoe Pond
Located in White Mountain National Forest is the Horseshoe Pond. Fishing is the primary water activity in this lake. Visitors can catch several varieties of fish in Horseshoe Pond, like brook and brown trout as well as smallmouth bass.
