Clear Creek has a campground located right where Clear Creek and the Clarion River meet. From the campground, you may wish to canoe downstream in the Clarion River to the park office. Be sure to pick up a map while you're there.

Thunder Swamp Trail System

With more than 45 miles of trails, the Thunder Swamp Trail System (Route 402 in Pike County) crosses over many valleys, crests and brooks. The main trail is 28 miles and is a State Forest Hiking Trail. The winding trails offer panoramic views of the Pocono Mountains while experiencing rich wildlife and wetlands.

Lehigh Gorge Mountain Bike Trail

Some of the preferred mountain biking trails, covering up to 25 miles of the Poconos' most fantastic wilderness countryside, are near the Lehigh River. The Lehigh Gorge Trail, winds through Lehigh Gorge State Park and is a popular destination for biking and hiking trails. You will enjoy your bike ride on this nine-mile downward trail overlooking the roaring rapids below.
