Williams is located in northern Arizona, about an hour's drive from the Grand Canyon and 30 miles from Flagstaff. Guests of Williams vacation rentals will enjoy taking the Grand Canyon Railway, which starts in Williams, to view the magnificent Grand Canyon. The train has been taking visitors there since 1901 and recreates what it would have been like then, including cowboys and a make-believe train robbery. The train arrives at south rim of the Grand Canyon. Those staying in Williams cabin rentals will probably also enjoy taking a helicopter ride over the canyon and possibly over Las Vegas for thrilling views. Visitors who opt to rent Williams vacation homes can take their children to the Grand Canyon Deer Petting Zoo, where they can actually feed and pet the deer. Tourists who enjoy hiking will want to explore the Kaibab National Forest and the Bill Williams Mountain area that has great trails with incredible views of the area.
