Architecture buffs have come to the right place—did you know that Fayette County is home to two of Frank Lloyd Wright's famous homes, Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob? Both are open to the public and well worth a visit. Southwestern Pennsylvania is known for some great wine so if that's more your thing, make sure to stop in at Glades Pike Winery where you can taste their "Wine of the Month" and if you get really inspired, Country Wines can help you pick out some equipment so you can start making your own home brew. The kids will love the Woodlands Zoo but if you're more interested in giving them a little historical education, check out the Fort Necessity National Battlefield, where a battle was fought that actually pre-dates the American Revolution. Try to catch some live theater at the historic State Theater, right in downtown Uniontown and after the show, grab a bite at Caileigh's Restaurant, where you can get rainbow trout or spiced duck.
