Nahant is just northeast of the city of Boston, and adjacent to Lynn Harbor - an inlet of Massachusetts Bay. The peninsula of Nahant lies in northeastern Massachusetts and it is made up of the islands of Little Nahant and Nahant. They are joined to the mainland by Lynn Beach, which is a small 1.5 mile isthmus of sand.
