Located less than 70 miles south of historic Hoover Dam, Lake Mohave is a 67-mile stretch of the Colorado River that is only four miles across at its widest point. As part of the National Park Service's Lake Mead National Recreational Area, Lake Mohave is a natural habitat for fish and wildlife. The area is home to hundreds of beaches, most only accessible by boat, as well as recreational opportunities fishing, boating, swimming, water skiing, camping, picnicking, exploring, auto touring, and photography. But most people manage to find their own little private beach, where they can simply relax.
