Flathead Lake is located in Montana's beautiful Flathead Valley area and just south of Kalispell. Flathead Lake is 28 miles long and 15 miles wide making it the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. Boating is the most popular activity here as well as fishing and swimming.
