What does it cost?The standard price for a listing on VacationHomes.com runs is $199($US). However the listings are on sale right now for $149($US) for 12 months (That's just $.41 a day - if you think this is high... click here). We only charge the one fee, there are no hidden charges, no surprises. If you are listing multiple properties, substantial discounts do apply. [ return to top ] Do you offer a guaranteeYes, if you list your home with us, we guarantee that you will receive paid bookings in excess of 10 times your vacation rentals listing fees during its first year. If you do not receive 10 times your vacation rental listing
fees during its first year, we will extend the listing on VacationHomes.com
an additional 6 months. This only applies to listings that are entered
into the system after November 8th 2002, and does not apply to bulk
or discounted listings. Property must be available for at least 4 months
out of the year and the listing must display at least one exterior and one
interior photograph. The property must also have a minimum rental period of 14 days or less. This offer does not apply to listings that link to other sites. Do I need a credit card to sign up? No! you do not need to use a credit card to list your
vacation property on VacationHomes.com At the time you create your vacation
rental listing, if you would prefer to send payment by other means you
can check that option, and then mail your payment to us. You can also
call us to handle the billing of your listing. However, property listings
will not go live on the site or be distributed to our partner sites
until your payment has cleared. Do I need to know HTML, or how to design a web page?NO. When you join VacationHomes.com you do not need to
know anything more than how to fill out a simple web form. We have gone
out of our way to make it easy for you. Once you have provided the information
about your vacation rental, we take care of the rest. How do I go about changing and updating my property listing?Simple. Once you have added your property to VacationHomes.com,
you may change all aspects of your listing by logging into a secure
administration area where you are presented with web based forms that
are very similar to those used to create the listing initially.
You can change your information as often as you like.
Once you are done, your web page and property information will be instantly
updated. Who updates my pages?You do! We provide you with a secure web based administration
tool which allows you to update the details of your rental such as its availability, description,
title, amenities, photographs, your rental policies and terms and we
take care of making sure that your listing page gets updated on VacationHomes.com. How do I add and change photographs to my listing?We provide you with a web based photograph administration
tool that allows you to upload and update up to six photographs per
listing at your leisure. The photograph administration tool allows you
to upload your photographs much in the same way you might attach them
to an email message. This convenience is provided at no extra charge
to you. Do you charge to update photos or make changes to my listings?No, we do not charge for updates to your listings. You
are provided with online tools which allow you to easily update your
vacation rental listing at your convenience. How will I receive inquiries?Once a potential renter finds your property in our index,
and they fill out a simple inquiry form the information will be sent
to whichever email address you specify when creating your listing on
our system. Further, you can change this email address at your convenience. May I provide links to other web pages?The short answer is yes. There are rules concerning which
links are appropriate. Generally, we ask that the link points to another
web page which contains more information about the specific property
listed. Further, when linking to a site that competes with VacationHomes.com,
it is mandatory that you provide a reciprocal link from the linked page. What do you do to market your site?We understand that results are key, to that end we have gone to great lengths to make sure that your vacation rental listings on VacationHomes.com gain the maximum exposure possible, and are always working on improving those results. The following are a couple of the things we do to try and make sure you get the most out of your listings.

you simply check off the unavailable dates. It is simple and easy to
use, and is provided at no extra charge to you. Additionally, it can
be linked to from any your other sites! Are there setup fees?No! There are no setup fees for standard listings. Are there management or referral fees?No! There are no management or referral fees. The only
fee you are ever charged is the listing fee for your property. There
are no hidden charges. How much traffic does your site get?Vacationhomes.com is a high traffic web site that delivers
over 30 gigabytes of traffic every month. Traffic however is a relative measure,
what counts is the quality of that traffic and we take pride in that
the quality of inquiries you receive are just what you are looking for,
renters looking to rent your property. What do you mean when you say I can be #1 in my city?Our unique indexing system makes sure that your listing
always has a chance at being number one! We do not give preferential
treatment to anyone on our site. While some sites stick to a strict
alphabetical listing order, or give preferential treatment to particular
clients, we make sure that your property has an equal chance at being
the first property listed for your area by randomizing the fully completed
listings on a daily basis. Can I cancel my listing?Yes, you can cancel your listing on VacationHomes.com
Canceling your listing is as easy as logging into the system and checking
the option to cancel your property listing. We do not however provide
refunds for cancellations. Is your site secure?We have gone to great lengths to ensure that our site
is secure. In addition to adhering to strict standards in developing
our web site with security in mind, we utilize a digital certificate
from Thawte, Inc., a leading provider of Internet trust services. When
you enter a secure portion of the site (any page that shows your account
information), you will see a closed lock or a solid key at the bottom
of your browser. If you click on this, a popup window displaying security
information will appear. This certificate is a guarantee that your account
information is being transmitted in a Secure Socket Layer (SSL), the
industry standard 128-bit encryption technology security protocol. This
is widely used by the banking industry, as well as major e-commerce
sites on the Internet. All of your ordering information is encrypted
using this secure server for maximum security. Our site is monitored
24 hours a day. How will I know if people are looking at my listing?Once your vacation rental is in our index and published on the web site, you will know right away how many people are looking at your rental property. We provide you with a real-time page counter that keeps track of all your hits. To view the page counter you will need to log into the web site and select which property you are tracking. We also store all of your past inquiries for you, which
means they are accessible to you anytime, from any computer connected
to the Internet. Who sets and determines the price I charge to rent my property?You determine the price you want to charge for which
times of the year. Included with every listing is a web based administration
tool to assist you in setting your rates. Why should I list my vacation property with you and not someone else?Value, we feel that we offer the best value when it comes
to marketing your vacation rental. We have gone to great lengths in
making our site as useful to potential renters as it is easy for you
